About

Hey all! First off, I would just like to thank you for taking time to read my blog, this is a passion project I’ve dreamed about for years and your support means the world to me!

I am new to farming and farm life, my husband Kyle likes to joke that he had to train me prior to settling down (we dated 11 years before finally getting married)! But in all honesty Kyle didn’t train me at all, in fact he’s a horrible teacher with little patience. (We’re working on that) Luckily for me his parents were more than willing to help and that’s where the inspiration for my blog name came from. Without my in-laws guidance and support I could never be the wife Kyle needs. Luckily for him I was willing to try new things and learn. For example cleaning out the cattle barn, still my least favorite task but it needs done and who’s going to turn away free help cleaning poo?!

Kyle and I got married on the farm in July of 2018 and for now have our fur baby Allis, a Saint Bernard/Pointer mix. Yes she’s named after the tractor, no I did not pick her name. Some day we hope to add some little ones of our own to our crazy schedule, for now we’re mastering the titles of the cool aunt and uncle.
